The Ardagh is a quiet, family run hotel situated
on the edge of Ardbear Bay in the heart of scenic Connemara. The
hotel is well known for its blend of hospitality and comfort. Large
suites overlooking the bay are available and all rooms are
individually decorated. The restaurant specialises in lobster,
seafood and homegrown vegetables complimented by an excellent wine
list. The lively town of Clifden is only 2km away and Connemara
National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the Alcock and Brown landing site
are all close by. The Connemara Golf Links are considered among the
best in Europe. Sea angling and horse riding can be arranged by the
