hospitality, the charming Butler Arms Hotel, on the scenic Ring of
Kerry, has been owned and managed by four generations of the Huggard
Family since 1915. Three comfortable lounges provide peaceful
relaxation while many of the tastefully furnished bedrooms and 12
luxury suites have magnificent ocean views. The Fishermen’s Bar is
noted for superb bar food and cosmopolitan ambience and our award
winning restaurant specialises in locally caught seafood.
Waterville’s Lough Currane is renowned for salmon and seatrout
fishing and deep sea fishing can also be arranged. The south west is
home to many famous golf links including Waterville Championship
Links, Ballybunion, Tralee and Old Head, Kinsale. It is an ideal
base for touring the Ring of Kerry and local archeological sites -
Staigue Fort, Church Island and the offshore Skelligs monastic
settlement. Fine beaches, hill rambling, cycling and horse riding
are close by. Excellent woodcock and snipe shooting is available
